Positive Positive Positive

It’s easy to get down when you’re in the sales profession, or the captain of your business ship.  My Operation’s Manager here at RE/MAX 4000, Joe Tripoli, forwarded this email to me after talking with his business coach.  We hear the words over and over again, stay positive. 

The following puts it in prospective……

I know that lead generation is not always easy, when it comes to writing personal notes, doing pop bys, sending out your monthly items of value, making follow up calls and asking your clients for referrals. I encourage you to keep a positive outlook. The best time to put yourself in a positive frame of mind is when you don’t feel like it. That’s when it can make the biggest difference. But how do you do that? How do you get yourself up when circumstances have you down?

You simply decide that you’re going to do what’s best for you. And what’s best for you is to move positively, confidently forward.

No, you may not feel like it at the moment, when things are not going your way. But ask yourself a simple question. Would you like to make things better or would you prefer to make things worse? If circumstances are not to your liking, why would you want to prolong them for even a single moment more? Think like a WINNER and not a WHINER.  The media projects a lot of negative information and we have to turn that around. Your clients want to be inspired by you! They need to know that you care about them and they need to see that you demonstrate that you are good at what you do. If a dog can smell fear, your clients can tell when you are wishy washy. Working by referral is a lifestyle. It’s just like brushing your teeth, washing your face and taking shower before your leave the house the in morning. It’s a non negotiable. Keep yourself consistent and that will be the key ingredient to your success.

The more negative you feel, the more reason you have to quickly get yourself into a positive frame of mind. It will truly and reliably work wonders. Surround yourself with plenty of positive reasons why you should do it. Maybe your why is to take a vacation, pay off your debt, make more money, etc. Think of what you want and let that be your fuel and your why. Set good Karma for yourself! Think positive today and always.
