Boomtowns: 10 real estate markets poised for rapid population growth………..
In the August issue of Professional Builder Magazine, news & trends listed 10 cities that are projected for the most growth from 2010 to 2020 and it stated that our great nation will see an 8.9 percent population increase. The study was done by Proximity One, a data analysis firm. They pulled their information from the 2010 census, as well as historical birth, death, migration, and economic data. Grand Junction Colorado placed 7th with a projected 28.7 percent increase. The 10 metro areas expected to see the biggest jumps in population are. 1. Raleigh-Cary N.C.; Kennewick-Pasco-Richland, Wash; Austin, Texas; Provo, Utah; Hinesville-Fort Stewart, Ga.; Logan, Utah-Idaho; McAllen, Texas; idaho Falls Idaho; Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord, N.C.-S.C.
I’m not sure who was personally involved in the study, but if I did know I’d kiss them smack on the lips.
